Special Subjects
Specialty teachers and their curriculum supplement and
complement the main lesson.
French and German language classes enrich and inspire
a multicultural approach to life.
Drama is another expression of the main lesson work.
Every year, each class prepares a play, related to their studies, for
fellow students and parents.
Eurythmy, an art of movement accompanied by music and
the spoken word, helps harmonize the whole person.
Woodworking, Modeling, and Handwork develop skills,
will, and artistic sensitivity, through disciplined activity that prepares
students for forming judgments and thoughts.
Both Vocal and Instrumental Music play a major role,
where the students, through daily practice, grow in their capacity to
produce and appreciate music.
The Spatial Dynamics curriculum challenges the students
in developmentally appropriate ways to gain mastery of movement in space
through a variety of games and disciplines.
Projects class, where students maintain fences, tend
gardens, and experience farm chores, cultivates an interest in the land
through practical work.
