Nurturing Living Connections, Early Childhood through Grade 12

For Hawthorne Valley Early Childhood Parents – Children’s Health and Home Care for Illness

Saturday, March 8th from 10:00 am to Noon

The Hawthorne Valley Waldorf Early Childhood Community welcomes Dr. Kathleen Derosa-Lazare and Jude Neu, who will speak on their experience working with children’s health and illness in Anthroposophic medical practice.

Topics to be presented include warmth, rhythm and the energetics of life force, healthy immunity, and caring for the sick child (fever, cough and earache). Hands-on demonstration with compresses and healing oils will be shared. We will follow up with a second session focusing on Lyme-related illness in the spring. We will offer childcare for children who are in our early childhood programs in support of our parent attendance. Registration is requested to help us accommodate needs – please contact your child’s teacher or sign up on the roster that is on the bulletin board in the Kindergarten foyer. For more information please call Janene Ping at 518-672-7092 x 103. Suggested donation $7.
