Fall Sports Update 10/17

Please view this week's biweekly publication to see the most recent Wildcats photos!

These pictures are from the Galway Invitational last month. Shown are seventh grader Angelica Cronin winning the girls modified (7th and 8th grade) division. Also, ninth grader Aliou Sami, and seventh grader Frances Kowalski, who both ran very well in their first ever invitational cross country meet. On October 6th, Hawthorne Valley's boys modified team won their division at the Maple Hill invitational. This Friday, October 19th, we have one more invitational meet at Saratoga State Park, with the first race at 4:00 pm for boys grades 7 and 8, at 4:20 for girls grades 7 and 8, at 4:40 for boys and girls freshmen, at 5:00 for varsity boys, and 5:30 for varsity girls.

Meanwhile, our girls volleyball team is trying to end the season on a positive note after winning only one match so far. We play against New Lebanon (the one team we have beaten ) on Wednesday the 17th 5:00 pm, at Taconic Hills school's gym. Then on Friday the 19th we play against Berlin at 5:30, which will be our Senior Night, also at Taconic Hills. The students on the team are improving with every game, and there have been some very close matches.
