After School Drama Work with Walking the Dog Theatre

On Monday, March 4th, Walking the dog Theater will begin its spring term of weekly after school drama work for high school students. This term will focus on the art of improvisation. We will play drama games and exercises, and learn skills toward spontaneous imagination and creativity. No experience is required, just an interest to play together. The term will culminate in a public sharing of improv.  Interested students in grades 9-12 will convene at Hawthorne Valley School on March 4th and will meet Mondays 3:00-5:00pm at HVS. The group will meet for about 10 sessions (not including break Mondays).  The cost of the program is $100. Minimum first payment at registration on March 4th is $50. If you would like to give more than $100 towards the program, your additional contribution is fully tax-deductible and will support our scholarship fund for students in need of assistance. Some scholarship assistance is available. If you would like to request a scholarship, please let me know before March 4th.

The program is limited to 14 participants. Please contact David Anderson with any questions or visit our website for more information on our programs.
