Warmest greetings from the Hawthorne Valley School.  We appreciate your interest in our school.

Here at Hawthorne Valley we offer our students the opportunity to grow and thrive through Waldorf education.  Located on a 400 acre Bio-dynamic farm we are able to provide our students with a unique balance of rigorous academic exploration and the nurturing experience of interaction with the natural world. 

Whether you are the parent of a young child looking to provide them with a Kindergarten where creative play is the true “work” of childhood  or a high school student who desires the opportunity to engage with their curriculum in new and stimulating ways, Hawthorne Valley provides education for the “whole” student.  In addition to addressing the needs of the maturing adolescent in the classroom, we offer a Boarding Program for High School students, as well as an Expanded Classroom, allowing local area students to have the opportunity to participate in traditional classes and intensive Main Lesson seminars.
